About Dalbakova Designs
Welcome to Dalbakova Designs! I’m Sayana, the founder and creative force behind our exquisite handmade holiday decorations. Originally from the Buryat Republic in Russia, my passion for fabrics began in childhood, inspired by my mother’s talent as a seamstress.
My journey evolved through law studies in Russia and a master’s degree in Taiwan, where I discovered Asian fabrics. In China, I studied fashion design at CALIN Fashion Academy and launched a custom lingerie brand featured on runways.
In 2023, I moved to Oakville, Canada, reconnecting with my roots by crafting kimekomi-style Christmas ornaments that blend artistry and tradition. Each piece is designed to bring warmth to homes across North America.
